Cathleen's Story
Hello. It's been a while since I've seen or heard from some of you, so allow me to catch you up to date with what's been going on with me. I remarried a wonderful man, Robert (Bob) Tate, 2-12-2011. He was my Pastor at First Indian Baptist Church. It caused a lot of raised eyebrows because his first wife of 47 years died in 2-19-09, and the older ladies at church thought he should remarry someone closer to his age. He was 25 years older than me but, he ran circles around me. He was a gentleman and very respectful towards me. We fell in love for one another in a day time of being alone with each other at church and talking. It was as if he was an answer to my prayers and I to his prayers. I moved out to my daughters' in Talihina from McAlester, Oklahoma. Now that I'm getting my bearings back, I'm looking to move to my own place. I don't know where, but soon, I'll either be in Tennessee, North Carolina, or Florida. I'll give another update when I get settled. I have nine grandchildren, now. My youngest grandson is one years old, last April. My oldest grandson will be thirteen, and my son fifteen, in September. My two daughters are 27 and 31. They all live in Talihina. It's been a blessing having them near me during this time of grief. Thanks to many of you that friends on Facebook, too, that have sent up prayers for me.
